There are several dinner parties that you don’t need to go to (especially for middle-aged people):

1. The rich party, where you are introduced to several important people and are hinted to pay the bill.

2. The gathering party, where you are asked to join the group and drink with them to create an atmosphere.

3. The wine and meat party, which has no theme at all and is full of bragging, and no one pays the bill in the end.

4. The shadow party, where you go to drink alone, but in fact others use you to do things, but you don’t know it.

5. The hunting party, where everyone except you is involved in the game, and every step is thrilling.
