Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has transferred 79.997 ETH (over $295,000) to the privacy protocol Railgun.
According to onchain data, Ethereum co-founder#VitalikButerintransferred more than $295,000 worth of Ethereum, or about 79.997 #ETH, to the privacy protocol Railgun on May 22. Buterin has publicly supported the privacy-focused #DeFi protocol Railgun, praising its privacy pool technology for improving user privacy without sacrificing security.
#Railgun is an Ethereum-based privacy protocol that allows users to conduct anonymous transactions and interact with decentralized applications (dapps) on the Ethereum blockchain. It uses zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs) to hide transaction details such as sender, receiver, asset type, and amount, thereby ensuring user privacy. Onchain data shows that Buterin has used a small amount of $ETH to interact with Railgun almost every month in the past six months.
