Twitter X Engineer Announces Special Likes, Ethereum Co-Founder Applauds Decision

According to Foresight News, an engineer from Twitter X announced that the platform is moving towards making 'likes' private. The engineer noted that public admiration often encourages inappropriate behavior. Soon users will be able to 'like' without worrying about who sees it. The engineer also pointed out that the more a user 'likes' posts, the better the platform's recommendation algorithm will be.

In response to this development, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin also expressed his approval. He stated that this was a good decision as nepotism and fraud are major social problems. He emphasized that people's honest opinions should be seen. Buterin also suggested that it would be great if Farcaster could emulate this and implement Zero Knowledge (ToM) 'likes'.
