Ethereum Reached a Record Level of 14 Billion Dollars with ETF Expectations!
Following the SEC's spot Ethereum ETF move, a record was seen in Ethereum (ETH) contracts.
According to data provided by on-chain analysis platform Coinglass, Ethereum contract assets reached a record level, exceeding $14 billion.
While 5.5 billion dollars of these assets were on Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bybit was in second place with 3.1 billion dollars.
OKX hosted $2 billion worth of Ethereum contracts. On the other hand, although a dollar-based record has been reached, a record has not been reached yet when considered in Ethereum terms.
While the amount of Ethereum in the contracts at the peak in 2022 was 5 million ETH, it is currently recorded as 3.83 million ETH.
Contract quantity is expected to reach higher levels as excitement about the spot Ethereum ETF prospect increases again.
