The IVS KYOTO Executive Committee, composed of Headline Japan, IVC, Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City Government, announced that it will hold Japan’s largest cryptocurrency summit IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO and JBW Summit at Kyoto Pulse Plaza from July 4 to 6, 2024, to kick off Japan Blockchain Week.
With the theme of “What’s your new adventure?”, IVS Crypto 2023 attracted more than 20,000 participants and 300 speakers. The main venue and more than 150 surrounding events provided participants with the opportunity to fully experience Kyoto, consolidating its position as the largest blockchain summit in Japan.
This year's IVS Crypto will focus on the latest developments and application prospects of blockchain technology with the theme of "Cross the Boundaries". We will jointly explore the future development direction of Web3 through multiple fields such as blockchain games, entertainment content creation, AI, Bitcoin ecology, DePin, etc. Industry leaders from home and abroad will also gather together to share their insights and experiences.

The 2nd floor has a VC Meeting Lounge and Elevator Pitch Area, where many partner VCs are stationed, and participants can directly present their projects and consultations to potential investors. On July 5th, there will be a full-day Web3 themed exchange event in the Insheng Hall on the 3rd floor. Here, new projects and artistic creations will be showcased, providing an ideal exchange and matching platform for content creators and project developers.
The morning "AI×Web3 Animation Competition" will showcase short animations created by young creators using AI technology and Virtual Engine. The winning works will receive help from Puri Prince and SHAKE Entertainment to advance their animation, comics, and gamification processes. These works will be produced using the AI-based model/animation production tools provided by Animechain.ai, and the relevant AI model information, IP, and licenses will be managed on the blockchain. Excellent works will also receive bonuses to support the further development of creators.
In the afternoon, participants will present their ongoing projects at the "WaveHack Global Demo Day" event. This is the first public demonstration of the WaveHack Global program, and teams that perform well will have the opportunity to give further speeches. In addition, projects with excellent evaluations will have more opportunities to showcase at cooperative summits such as EDCON or WebX in the future. The program will eventually provide 30 projects with a total of $500,000 in funding to promote the practical application and popularization of innovative Web3 technologies.
