📃 A New York couple accused of laundering $4.5 billion in cryptocurrency related to the 2016 hack of the Bitfinex exchange have reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, according to court documents.
👩❤️👨 Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan are scheduled to appear for a plea hearing early next month.
Federal prosecutors allege the pair conspired with "others known and unknown to the grand jury."
Morgan, known as the "Razzlehan" rap artist, was arrested along with Lichtenstein last year. She is charged with conspiracy to launder money and defraud the United States.
A district court judge previously signed a court order in the case, saying it would involve "classified national security information" that could only be accessed by people with special clearance.
