According to a report published by the Financial Times, CME Group (CME) plans to launch bitcoin trading to diversify its financial products.
Citing informed people, the publication stated that the exchange, whose main office is in Chicago, has begun negotiations with market participants interested in buying and selling bitcoin in a regulated trading environment.
It was also stated that the initiative has not been officially confirmed as of now.
