ChainCatcher reported that according to CoinDesk, people familiar with the matter revealed that some members of Nasdaq's encryption team no longer work at the company. It is not clear how many people are left or the extent of the layoffs.

Another person familiar with the matter said that in some cases, they joined companies that expanded faster into cryptocurrencies, and Nasdaq purposefully took its time to decide how to support the industry.
