According to Odaily Planet Daily, JPMorgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas are working with the European Central Bank to promote tokenization. The project is testing the use of blockchain technology to settle securities transactions. The ECBâs tokenization trial, which began in December last year, is still in its early stages and will continue until November this year. "We are trying to look ahead and think about how central bank money can retain its purpose," Ulrich Bindseil, the ECB's director of market infrastructure and payments, said when the tokenization trial was first announced in December.
