The Multichain team announced that CEO Zhao Jun was taken away from his home by the police on May 12 this year and has lost contact with the team since then. đŸ˜±

The team stated that the operational access keys of all MPC node servers have been revoked. These servers are actually running under Zhao Jun’s personal cloud server account and cannot be accessed by the team.

To make matters worse, all operating funds and investor investments are controlled by Zhao Jun. This means that all funds and server access to the project are in the hands of Zhao Jun and the police. 💔

Faced with this situation, the team reluctantly chose to use the remaining access rights to try to keep the project running without disclosing unauthorized case information to the public. đŸ€

After Zhao Jun disappeared, his family finally successfully logged into the cloud server platform, but only allowed team engineers to access the home computer to fix some technical problems. During this period, although the team did not learn the details of the case, they learned that Zhao Jun was about to be released, so they continued to maintain the system. 🔧

However, on July 7, user assets were abnormally transferred from the MPC address to an unknown address. It is understood that the login information of Kunming IP address and a series of transfer operations were found on the cloud server platform. 😹

On July 9, Sister Zhao Jun transferred the remaining user assets and notified the team and multiple project parties that the funds were transferred to the EOA address controlled by her. 🔒

However, only four days later, Zhao Jun's sister was detained by the police and has lost contact with her. This left the project team unsure about the status of the assets she preserved and decided to announce the incident to the community. 📱

Due to lack of information sources and operating funds, the Multichain team has now been forced to cease operations, which we deeply regret. The team will update the information if there are any new notifications and developments.

Friends, this is a wake-up call! Please do not use Multichain services anymore. Regarding Multichain's front-end address team, they stated that they do not have access to redirect or close it. Please help spread this information and protect everyone’s interests! 🙏
