Dharma is not passed on lightly, Tao is not sold cheaply,
Teachers do not pass by, doctors do not knock on doors,
A thousand gold coins will not be passed on to unfaithful sons, ten thousand fortunes will not save ungrateful people,
Doctors can only save those who believe, Tao is in vain when it comes to ignorance,
Nectars cannot moisten rootless grass, wonderful Dharma only saves those who are destined to be saved.
