Michelle Murphy, 58, was sentenced to nine years in prison for attempting to arrange the murder of her partner's mistress. Murphy used the dark web and paid more than $10,510 in Bitcoin to order the hit.
Despite the admission of guilt, it turned out that the hired “killer” may not have intended to carry out the order.
