On May 6, IOST and Japanese ecological project Aroma held a "Fragrance ✖️ Digital Art" event at Nagoya Zokei University (Meijo Campus). Founded in 1966, Nagoya Zokei University has been deeply involved in the field of art and design and has always been at the forefront.
The theme of this event was “Web3 Digital Art”, and the discussion focused on the wide application of blockchain technology. Dr. Wada from EverSystem and aromatherapist Maai, two important IOST ecosystem partners, also participated in this event.
Take the “FUSSION” project as an example. “FUSSION” — a fragrance and Web3 project created using IOST blockchain technology. In April, at a private party at the 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Festival, Dr. Wada introduced users to a special blend of aromatic oils in the FUSSION project and demonstrated the innovative application of blockchain in enhancing artistic and sensory experiences.
The event was held in the outdoor gallery of Nagoya Zokei University's new campus, which was completed in 2022. During the performance by the violin and guitar duo, aromatherapist Maai filled the venue with a blend of scents, while the FUSSION project used blockchain technology to verify the composition of this scent blend. This unique experience gave the feeling that the music painted a unique color in the space.
Meanwhile, Dalya, known as the “Cosmic Dancer” who has developed her own unique style after exploring various dance genres, also gave a wonderful performance, mesmerizing the attendees with her dynamic performance, adding a vibrant and charming element to the atmosphere of the event.
