⚠️ SEC Labels Upcoming Ripple Stablecoin as an Unregistered Crypto Asset
Even though Ripple has yet to release its long-awaited stablecoin, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has already classified the upcoming US dollar-backed token as an “unregistered crypto asset.”
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) made this classification in its response to Ripple's objection to its initial review of remedies.
