Arbitrum is the first Layer 2 protocol to break $150 billion in total trading volume on DEX
Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Arbitrum has surpassed $150 billion in trading volume on decentralized exchange platform Uniswap. Uniswap Labs wrote in a social media post on Monday that Arbitrum is the first Layer 2 protocol to break this threshold on a DEX. As of early May, Arbitrum's cumulative trading volume reached $150.2 billion.
Blockchain data tracker DeFiLlama shows that the total locked value (TVL) of the Arbitrum network is $2.64 billion, making it the largest Layer 2 protocol by TVL and the fifth largest protocol after Layer 1 Solana, BSC, Tron and Ethereum. Data shows that Uniswap is the largest decentralized exchange by TVL (total locked value), and its TVL remains at $5.54 billion as of May 6. #arbitrum #DEX #Layer2 #uniswap #ETH
