With the rapid development of AI technology, the world is gradually entering a new era of deep integration of edge computing intelligence and distributed AI. Edge intelligence, as an emerging field integrating edge computing and intelligent technology, is gradually becoming a key force in promoting the development of AI. In order to further promote the development of edge intelligence technology and share the latest global research results and industry trends, we have decided to hold the "Edge Intelligence 2024 - AI Developer Summit" at Hong Kong Cyberport on May 9.

This summit is co-organized by HKAIIA and UtilityNet, co-organized by Cyberport, and hosted by Techub News. With the theme of "Edge Intelligence 2024 - AI Developer Summit", it focuses on cutting-edge technologies and explores the integration of edge computing intelligence and AI+. The core purpose of this event is to gather global wisdom and promote the innovation and application of related technologies.

Agenda 1: Opening Speech

In the grand opening ceremony of "Edge Intelligence 2024 - AI Developer Summit", Pan Junyu, Chairman of HKAIIA Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Innovation Association, and Hong Kong Legislative Council Member Yung Hoi-yan will deliver opening speeches. They will outline the grand background and core goals of this summit, emphasizing the criticality and prospects of edge intelligence and AI. Through their enthusiastic speeches, participants will feel the passion and expectations conveyed by the summit.

Agenda 2: Keynote Speech

In the grand schedule of "Edge Intelligence 2024 - AI Developer Summit", the keynote speech session is undoubtedly the most eye-catching. This summit invites many industry leaders, and their speeches will bring us sharing of the latest cutting-edge research on edge intelligence and distributed AI. These include Professor Luk Haitian, Director of Mainland Affairs of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Liu Zhicong, Chief Architect of DataMallchain, Zhang Yingfeng, founder of InfiniFlow, Terrill Tsang, head of Asia technology of UtilityNet, Bova, general partner of Infinity Labs, Deng Weiting, chairman of the board of directors of Shengma Intelligent Technology, and co-founder of Manta Network Kenny and other big names gathered together to discuss the future of edge intelligence and AI+! Their wonderful speeches will reveal the latest progress and future trends of edge intelligence and AI technology, providing valuable inspiration and thinking for participants.

Agenda 3: DEMO SHOW - Display EDGEINTELLIGENCE and AI technology application cases

After the exciting keynote speech, we ushered in agenda three of this summit: technical discussion and display. In this session, Terrill Tsang, Asia technical director of UtilityNet, will bring us an in-depth discussion and demonstration on EDGEINTELLIGENCE and AI technology application cases.

As the technical leader of UtilityNet, Terrill Tsang not only has profound technical skills, but also has rich project experience. In this technical seminar and demonstration session, he will present us a wonderful technical feast based on UtilityNet's latest research results and practical cases in the field of EDGEINTELLIGENCE.

Agenda 4: Interactive Q&A

Then entered the interactive question and answer session. This session aims to deepen participants' understanding of edge intelligence and AI development, and to engage in interactive communication by answering questions instantly. The following are some of the questions in this session and their introduction:

  1. What network consensus mechanisms does the blockchain network have? This question will explore common consensus mechanisms in blockchain networks, such as POW (Proof of Work), POC (Proof of Equity), POS (Proof of Equity), etc. These mechanisms ensure the security and reliability of the blockchain network.

  2. What is the core consensus mechanism proposed by UtilityNet? This will focus on the unique consensus mechanism used by UtilityNet - POCI (Proof of Trusted Computing Integrity). This mechanism is designed to enhance the security of the network by ensuring computational integrity.

  3. What does DePIN literally mean? DePIN stands for “Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network,” and this question will explain what the term means and explore its role in edge intelligence and AI development.

  4. What are the main features of Web3? This issue will focus on the core idea of Web3, namely decentralization, and explore how this feature shapes the future of the Internet.

  5. What DePIN projects do you know so far? Do you know which project focuses on computing resource services? This question will invite participants to share what they know about DePIN projects, with a special focus on those projects that focus on computing resource services.

  6. What are the core applications of UtilityNet? This question will reveal UtilityNet's main application - container cloud, and explain its key role in edge intelligence and AI development.

  7. What does the 'D' in DePIN stand for? This question will briefly explain that the "D" in the DePIN terminology stands for "Decentralized", emphasizing the decentralized nature of the DePIN network.

  8. What are the hottest AI applications currently? This will be an open question, inviting participants to share the most popular AI applications currently, such as: zamidjourney Wenshengtu, ChatGPT chatbot, KIMI chatbot, etc., to demonstrate the current widespread application and innovative results of AI.

Through these questions, interactive Q&A sessions will provide a platform for participants to delve into key topics in edge intelligence and AI development and benefit from the knowledge and experience of their peers.

Agenda 4: "Roundtable Forum: DePIN and Web3: Promoting AI+ to be more democratic"

Then, we will enter the core part of this summit - the roundtable forum. This is a platform to gather wisdom and collide ideas. We will invite outstanding representatives from different fields to discuss how to promote the development of the AI+/Web3/computing hardware industry in Hong Kong and how to help Hong Kong create new productivity.

This roundtable forum will be chaired by Professor Luk Haitian, Director of Mainland Affairs of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. With his profound academic background and rich practical experience, he will guide the guests to conduct in-depth discussions. The core topic of the forum is "DePIN and Web3: Promoting AI+ to be more democratic." This topic aims to explore how to promote the democratization process of AI technology through DePIN and Web3 technologies. Specifically, it is how to involve more people in the research and development, application and promotion of AI technology, break down technical barriers, and realize the popularization and sharing of technology.

There is a strong lineup of guests participating in this roundtable forum. They are: Arthur, chief economist and chief quantitative researcher of AQUMON, Zhang Yunyan, partner of Jincheng Tongda Law Firm, Zack, founder of JoJoWorld, Nathan Zhao, founder of 7updao, and Daren Market Co-founder Hanggi, SOON-COO ZD. They will discuss how DePIN and Web3 can promote the democratization of AI+ technology from the perspectives of their respective fields.
