According to data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as of the end of the first quarter, the total market value of Bitcoin and Ethereum futures ETFs has reached HK$1.2 billion, and capital inflows have reached HK$592 million.

Since the SFC approved the public offering of virtual asset futures ETFs in Hong Kong on October 31, 2022, three virtual asset futures ETFs investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum futures have been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This batch of ETFs has been favored by investors and has been actively traded since its launch. The average daily trading volume in the first quarter of 2024 reached HK$51.3 million, a significant increase from HK$8.9 million in 2023. At the same time, these ETFs also attracted capital inflows of HK$529 million.
