Renzo ($REZ ) is a cross-chain liquid restaking protocol based on the EigenLayer blockchain. It allows users to stake ETH and other liquid staking tokens (LST) on popular platforms such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain.

REZ is the governance token of Renzo Protocol. The cryptocurrency, which was not yet on the market as of April 27, was released through Binance.
Renzo is still a new project. The protocol was founded in 2023 by Kratik Lodha and Lucas Kozinski. Beta mainnet was activated in December of the same year. The project completed its first financing round in early 2024.
Renzo was designed to simplify the process of restaking liquid tokens offered by EigenLayer. Staking refers to locking cryptocurrency into a blockchain network.
