A retest is a repeated return to the broken level.
The ideal time to open a trade. If the price goes up and then reverses, it indicates that there is a lot of supply at that level. And subsequently it will also have an impact if the price approaches it. Each such level matters, it does not matter at all what period we are talking about: five minutes, an hour or a day.
As a rule, a retest occurs near important zones. Such levels act as magnets that attract and repel the price. No matter how or where the retest occurs, its characteristics are always the same. There is not a single pattern or figure that is not subject to retest.
The practice of waiting for a retest will teach you patience. You will have to wait for a more favorable opportunity to enter the market, rather than simply opening your position for a breakout. Although such a strategy also has its place.
