Associated Press: So is the Fed now turning to more tightening or easing?

FED: I can only say that I think interest rates are high enough right now that we still do not have confidence in a rate cut, let me give a few examples:
If inflation remains constant, interest rates will remain at this level.
If inflation drops, we will consider interest rate cuts.
If unemployment increases, we will consider lowering rates.
It all depends on future data.
