Layer 2 network Optimism has successfully addressed two critical vulnerabilities on its testnet that could have allowed malicious actors to manipulate chain history and execute attacks.
The vulnerabilities were first discovered by Offchain Labs in March, enabling attackers to trick the OP Stack fraud-proof mechanism into accepting fraudulent chain histories.
