According to The Block, the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee plans to meet at its Washington, D.C. headquarters on July 18 to discuss decentralized finance and the regulator’s recent victory in the case against Ooki DAO.

“Decentralized finance (DeFi) models such as decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and the Commission’s recent Ooki DAO case will be discussed, among other DeFi issues,” CFTC Commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero, the committee’s sponsor, said in a statement on Wednesday.
