Doodles announces animated film starring Pharrell and Lil Wayne
The latest web3 movie collaboration is set to make a splash: Doodles just announced Dullsville and the Doodleverse, a new animated film with an unforgettable soundtrack produced by music industry giants.
Rapper, producer and Doodles chief brand officer Pharrell Williams will lead the musical contributions, with rapper and songwriter Lil Wayne and rapper and singer Coi Leray also set to appear on the soundtrack, which will be released via Columbia Records’ Doodles label.
That’s not all for Doodles Universe: just days after the film was announced, the project brought fans into the universe with Doodles: Space Mission Season 1, which invited community members to embark on a gamified journey where they could accumulate and track daily “space miles” through its online hub, Doodles Stoodio.
OpenSea adds support for GUNZ
Players eager to try out the upcoming first-person battle royale shooter Off The Grid will be happy to learn that they will be able to purchase and trade in-game items on OpenSea.
Gunzilla Games, the developer behind Off The Grid, announced the integration of its GUNZ blockchain with the OpenSea marketplace just weeks after announcing a $30 million funding round in late March.
All parties expressed interest in creating an interoperable gaming ecosystem in which digital memorabilia, skins, and other gear collected during gameplay will be transferable across a variety of environments and markets. Welcome to a new era of gaming commerce!
Coachella Launches NFT Quest Game
The festival is launching Coachella Quests, a new immersive rewards experience developed in partnership with Ava Labs, the company behind the Avalanche blockchain.
Festival goers will have the opportunity to complete tasks, collect stamps and unlock exclusive Coachella perks, from VIP lounge access to unreleased music and even a rare NFT that unlocks two passes to next year’s event.
The Coachella Quest experience takes fans on a journey from stage to scavenger hunt with surprises along the way, and interested attendees must sign up for a Canvas card, which allows them to begin documenting their experience and collect digital proof of their quest once they arrive at the festival.
Christie's New York holds first Bitcoin art auction
Historic art auction house Christie’s is launching its first-ever Bitcoin Ordinals auction, showcasing unique artworks by pioneering artist Tony Tafuro and berkin bags curated by ZK Shark.
The sale, which will take place April 9-16, highlights the collection’s historical significance as a traditional auction house presents a work of art inscribed directly on the Bitcoin blockchain.

OpenSea hosts web3 arcade night during NFT NYC
During NFT NYC, we hosted a web3 arcade night with Parallel, Pixel Vault’s BattlePlan, Grapes, and Wanderers.
While playing leading web3 games, attendees were able to meet and connect with a diverse web3 community from around the world, and they also enjoyed old-school arcade games like Pac-Man and NBA Jam.
