On Monday, April 15, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission announced the list of the first batch of Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in Hong Kong, China. A total of 19 institutions were approved for virtual asset management business, including two Hong Kong subsidiaries of mainland public funds: Harvest Global and China Asset Management (Hong Kong).

It is reported that after the approval of the business, the manager can provide virtual asset management services to investors and apply to the regulator to issue ETF products that can invest in spot Bitcoin and spot Ethereum.
