Dash production reduction refers to the reduction of block rewards on the Dash network. It is an internal mechanism of Dash designed to control the speed and quantity of Dash issuance.
Dash’s production reduction cycle is every 210,240 blocks, which is approximately once every two years. After the production reduction, the block reward will be reduced from 2.7637 DASH to 2.566 DASH.
