The stablecoin #USDT's issuer, #Tether, has finally responded to several questions that have been raised about the operational decisions it has made.

According to information found in documents made public by the New York Attorney General ( #NYAG ), the stablecoin's issuer deleted about 29 accounts in '21 that belonged to well-known cryptocurrency gamers. The majority of the people on the list appear to have had their accounts closed for a variety of reasons.

Tether has responded by saying that they are unable to comment on specific partnerships, despite the fact that the reasons for the account #terminations were not specifically stated. They did, however, make it clear that everyone had passed stringent compliance tests required by Tether's compliance procedures during the onboarding process and continuing monitoring.
