Ripple (XRP) is associated with the Central Bank of Colombia?
The Central Bank of Colombia has partnered with blockchain solutions company Ripple to explore use cases for the technology underlying cryptocurrencies. The Bank of the Republic and the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies (MinTIC) will pilot some use cases to improve the high-value payment system supported by Ripple's CBDC platform, based on the XRP Ledger. (XRPL), an open source and energy sustainable blockchain. The objective is to educate national and territorial public entities on how the speed, scalability and transparency of blockchain technology can revolutionize payment systems and data management.
