The US Department of Justice agreed to drop some of the charges against Sam Bankman-Fried

On June 14, the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District filed a motion with the court agreeing to drop 5 of the 13 counts of the indictment against SBF. The department explained this by the fact that the proceedings in the Bahamas could be significantly delayed.

Yesterday, June 14, the Supreme Court of the Bahamas sided with Bankman-Fried's lawyers. SBF received the right to defend the dismissal of a number of charges.
