how does leverfi work
LeverFi is a decentralized, on-chain leverage trading platform built on Ethereum that aims to solve various DeFi pain points by providing a holistic platform with features like yield on trading collateral, unified collateral, on-chain leverage, and more. The platform operates using its native ERC-20 token, LEVER, which serves as a governance token and can be staked to earn a portion of platform fees.
LeverFi's ecosystem consists of four main components: the Collateral Manager, Lending Manager, Trading Manager, and Risk Manager, which are powered by smart contracts to execute platform tasks. To start trading, users need to deposit assets in the form of collateral, which are locked up for a certain period to earn rewards from the platform's fees generated by user activity such as trading, borrowing, and lending.
Traders can deposit collateral to farming protocols and trade with leverage, earning yields at the same time. LeverFi's robust platform design allows lenders and traders to securely and permissionlessly interact with each other, providing real yields that are highly competitive and sustainable.
LeverFi's roadmap includes native deployments into zk-rollups and the development of new features to improve and enhance the user experience, such as automated dollar-cost averaging (DCA) or range trading strategies. The platform is the first on-chain, cross-margin trading platform on Ethereum, enabling traders to consolidate their assets into a single collateral basket and leverage trade positions of larger sizes.
LeverFi is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that offers leveraged spot trading, allowing traders to deposit collateral and trade at up to 10x leverage. The platform consists of four major components: Collateral Manager, Lending Manager, Trading Manager, and Risk Manager. LeverFi's native token, LEVER, is used for governance and staking, with use cases including voting and earning yields. The project aims to tackle issues within the current DeFi market, such as a lack of sustainable total value locked
