1. Dino Dealer

Dino Dealer bought an image of a digital stone. Yes, this is an NFT...đŸ€Ș

And he hit the jackpot, as these stones quickly began selling for six figures.

Dino wanted to take a profit, so he decided to sell the stone for more than $1 million.

However, he made a fatal mistake...

Instead of selling it for $1.2 million, he listed it for pennies by choosing $WEI instead of $ETH to sell (by the way, this is a common mistake)

And the bot immediately bought the stone, without giving Dino time to correct his mistake.

Thus, all of Dino's capital disappeared with the click of a button.

*For those who don’t know, bots are hunting for rare and interesting NFTs.

But the story doesn't end there...

Dino's ex-best friend said they bought the rock TOGETHER. Can you imagine this???

However, Dino denied his former best friend's accusations. Stating that his former best friend had no idea about the stone when Dino bought it.

And to make matters worse, the same stone was sold just a few days later for $640,000

2.Twitter: @Franklin

- $160,000 in a few minutes. đŸ€‘

Franklin made a stupid mistake that cost him $160,000 in just a few minutes.

Here's how it happened...

Some users, when buying NFTs, deliberately set inflated offers to artificially increase demand. Franklin decided to create an address: stop-doing-fake-bids-its-honestly-lame-my-guy.eth

And as a “joke” (as he said), Franklin himself made a fake offer of 100 ETH.

By artificially increasing demand, someone offered to buy Franklin for 1.9 ETH. Franklin, of course, accepted the offer and confirmed the sale, earning a good amount for a minimal initial investment.

But there is a problem..

While Franklin immediately took to Twitter to celebrate the 1.9 ETH he just earned.

He FORGOT to cancel his own offer to buy 100 ETH!!!

What do you think happened next?

The person who bought the address simply sold it back to Franklin for 100 ETH. This man's name was MemeWasBorn. And in a few minutes he became 160 thousand dollars richer.

Afterwards, this money was used to purchase historical NFTs and Milady.

Out of desperation... Franklin sent MemeWasBorn 1.9 ETH back and a letter asking for a refund.

To which MemeWasBorn sent Franklin Milady 😀

3. Keyboard Monkey (KBM)

KBM sold a penguin NFT for $16,000. And everything would have been fine, but after that there was a scandal with his wife, who was against this sale and, as a result, KBM had to buy the penguin back. 🙄

So, he made a buy offer = 13 ETH ($22,000) on the NFT he just sold. But someone immediately interrupted his offer... the purchase failed...

Then, KBM made an offer for $32,000 (twice the price for which he sold this NFT. And, fortunately, the offer was approved!

KBM finally got his penguin back!

But the story doesn’t end there, otherwise it wouldn’t be in this article...😉

KBM still has a previous offer for sale at a low price.

And of course, for a small price, someone was able to buy the penguin back from KBM minutes after KBM bought it for twice the price of its first sale. Tough...

Fortunately, KBM was able to contact the new owner. And he was able to buy back his penguin for an unknown amount.

The community celebrated "The Return of the Penguin" and based on this story they made animated films and wrote stories :D

These are the amazing stories from the world of WEB3. I was inspired to write this article by NFT enthusiasts who track such interesting stories and share transaction details.
