WALLET ROADMAP
Dear LTO Community
We did a major restructure of our dev team late last year and in January the team went into full throttle mode.
The reason for the restructuring was that it became quite apparent we needed a more front end and product driven team. This makes our IT structure aligned with our objectives as a public chain, with public infrastructure to support decentralised RWAs as well as a mobile wallet that holds our Ownables/RWAs.
The technology we are building is world changing and as you can see there’s been quite a lot of tasks for the team to work on.
The roadmap image below shows the high level things our devs have had to address. They fall into 4 main categories:
1 - Ownables Generator
This is the system which allows users to make Ownables from within the wallet itself. This will be a major instrument in the adoption of Ownables, making them easy to create without any coding skills.
2 - Bridge
The bridge allows Ownables to connect to other networks through NFTs. The bridge backend is done, however the wallet needs to interface with the Bridge and this is quite a complex task.
3 - Transfer Relay
This service is used to send Ownables, from wallet to wallet.
4 - General
There’s general works to be done. Mainly that all of the steps above that our devs are doing, will be added to the SDK wallet. Which the Rocketlab guys have to then integrate into the native wallet. This is a relatively speedy process.
We also need to do a bunch of testing. We plan to expand the alpha to be community-wide, leading us to our security audit testing.
The tasks on the roadmap are all from early January. As you can see in 2 months the new dev guys have made HUGE progress. They have learned our entire tech stack and the methodologies used to develop our Ownables ecosystem and have completed a significant amount of the tasks that were needed.
We will provide either weekly or fortnightly updates to the community as to the progress of the remaining tasks.
