Many people use cryptocurrencies for speculation purposes. Of course, that's legitimate. But we shouldn't forget why Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were invented. Bitcoin is intended to give hard-working people complete control over their money again. Why should others control your money? Your own decentralized and anonymous wallet is the first step towards regaining control over your money. It's nice to see that the EU will not ban you from using these wallets:
