Arguably one of the biggest events of the crypto industry calendar is the #Bitcoin Conference, hosted in Miami each year. This May, the #AlchemyPay Pay team made a splash with its advertising billboard campaign lighting up the Miami skyline and we were at the event to meet with developers building on the Bitcoin network, learn about new developments in #ZKsync proofs, and to show off our cutting edge fiat-crypto #payments technology.
Our on/off-ramp solution and NFT checkout are serving users on Bitcoin-based and related platforms, enables users in 173 countries to buy digital assets easily with Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay as well as support for countless local payment services in Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Alchemy Pay also sponsored Nolcha Shows BTC edition 2023, a night of art, music, and community on Hyde Beach during the conference week. Friends and partners, founders and devs met with our North American team.
Bitcoin on the Beach
In recent years, Miami has been host to some of the bigger and brasher moments that have happened in crypto, but with the crypto market creeping along sideways and the recent push towards litigation by the SEC, the US event was markedly more quiet and reserved. Naturally the progress of the Lightning Network scaling solution was evident. There was also much discussion of the Bitcoin Ordinals who have caused so much disruption to the network.
The world’s largest Bitcoin conference was set in Miami for the last time. After 3 years in Florida, it will move to Nashville next year. The conference welcomed the presidential hopefuls, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Vivek Ramaswamy and Tulsi Gabbard alongside heavyweight Bitcoiners like Michael Saylor, Adam Back, and Jack Mallers.
This year, the Bitcoin 2023 conference attracted attendees from 98 nations and demonstrated how Bitcoin remains resilient despite a challenging economic situation. The discussions and topics at the event acknowledged the long-lasting foundation of Bitcoin and emphasized its essential nature as a secure and decentralized network for payments and savings that becomes increasingly scarce as time passes.
On-Boarding to Digital Assets
Alchemy Pay had a strong presence in Miami during the Bitcoin 2023 conference with billboard advertising across prominent locations such as downtown Miami, Miami Central Station, and several beach shelters. The Alchemy Pay and associated ACH token branding was visible to millions, establishing itself as the industry go-to solution and the leading choice for businesses and users for fiat-crypto payment.
Our founding team’s experience in the traditional finance and fintech payments space has allowed us to build a highly versatile team, capable of bespoke fiat-crypto onramping to Bitcoin. As a fiat-crypto payment provider, Alchemy Pay was there to showcase its mainstream-friendly services to projects across multiple sectors of the Web3 industry, helping to connect and onboard everyday people to crypto.
Over the past year, Alchemy Pay has formed partnerships with numerous other layer-1 networks, such as Polygon, Avalanche, Algorand, and Arbitrum. We produce a fiat-crypto on-ramp plugin that is now being used by many wallets, DeFi, gaming and NFT marketplaces, as well as exchanges like OKX and Bitget.
Simplifying the onboarding process is crucial for the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies and by enabling local payment options. Alchemy Pay makes the adoption of digital assets possible for newcomers and natives.
