RAM is already available
What is RAM? It is the memory resource of EOS. When the EOS mainnet was launched in 2018, it only took 13 days for RAM to increase from 0.013 to 0.92. As a result, the cost of registering an EOS account has increased significantly, reaching about 100 yuan each. The proposal to issue additional RAM was adopted as a last resort. The speculation capital left, but EOS also fell from third place to outside the 100th place.
Six years later, the EOS community learned from the pain and finally passed the proposal to stop the issuance of additional RAM. On March 16, the RAM transferability proposal was also passed. RAM can already be traded on centralized exchanges. Since then, users can trade RAM on the exchange without registering an EOS account.
Why is RAM so fascinating? RAM is currently the only project using the Bancor protocol. This is originally the security protection protocol of EOS.
