Dorian Nakamoto is still considered the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
On March 6, 2014, the American magazine Newsweek published an article claiming that the creator of Bitcoin was none other than Dorian Nakamoto. This week, 10 years after the publication of this article, journalists decided to find out how he was doing.
Even though Dorian vehemently denies these claims, he still enjoys significant support from the Bitcoin community. A funny photo of him with a âthatâs not meâ expression on his face became a meme, and crypto enthusiasts released a rare card with an image of Dorian in the style of Pepe the Frog - one of the first NFT cards issued on the Bitcoin blockchain, or more precisely, on its Counterparty protocol, which was resold for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Of course, there are people who still think that Satoshi is him.
