SushiSwap sparked controversy in the community by removing its financial opacity after being accused of manipulating governance and forums.

The SushiSwap community has been increasingly accused of governance manipulation and a lack of financial transparency following the removal of the governance forum.

Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange SushiSwap is facing criticism from its community, accusing it of tampering with governance processes and ignoring voter preferences, as well as financial decisions that are causing growing dissatisfaction.

At the end of February, former SushiSwap contributor Naim Boubziz said that the project’s core team deleted parts of its governance forum because they had concerns about how funds were being used.

On March 4, Boubziz stated that the Sushi operations team had canceled four governance proposals calling for the restoration of the forum and more open financial funding. Boubziz also clarified that core team members are now the only ones able to organize new votes.

One of the proposals that attracted a lot of attention involved the operations team that would handle Sushi's financial funding. The proposal called for the community to address a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) structure, which seems strange in hindsight.

Some suggestions suggest suspending the role of remuneration committees, making their salaries public, and disclosing any legal entities set up by operational teams. However, nothing has changed on these fronts.

People familiar with the SushiSwap community responded to The Defiant and said that the core team is trying to control the DAO. They said they had censored forum posts, removed objections, banned users and removed characters in response to criticism. .

Despite growing concerns, as of the time of the report, SushiSwap had not publicly responded to the allegations or provided assurances about its management practices. #SushiSwap #DAO治理
