The trend has landed, seize the dividends, welcome to Wushu's talk about Web3, hello everyone, I am Wushu 🧔
Today's sharing does not contain any popular science content. I just want to chat with my fans about three questions. The first is what will Web3 look like in the future? The second is what opportunities do ordinary people have in it? The third is why should we plan to learn Web3?
Well, before we officially begin, new friends are welcome to like and follow Uncle Wu. Here you will learn [the essential knowledge and latest trends of the Web3 metaverse]. Please continue to pay attention!
1. What will the future of Web3 look like?
Before we figure out this question, we must first understand what Web3.0 is. I believe many people have heard about data ownership belonging to individuals and decentralization. Is that all? I want to say here that it is much more than that. Just like many years ago, when the Internet was migrating from PC to mobile phones, all we could feel was that we could chat and watch videos with our mobile phones. That was the only intuitive feeling. What we didn't expect was that in a few years, mobile Internet has changed every bit of our lives.
We no longer need to go to offline stores to choose the clothes we like, and someone will deliver them to us. We don’t need to go to restaurants outside the community to eat the food we want. Before we decide where to travel, we can open the travel guide to see the recommendations. In addition, we can stay at home and use our mobile phones to learn about the various new things in life shown to us by Internet celebrities, as well as the various software applications that change our living habits. Could we have thought of these at the time?
Now, we are also in such an era and stage. Web3.0 is already trying to be implemented. In the future, there will be more and more applications that will be combined with real-life scenarios, business scenarios, etc., and will change every aspect of our lives. So no one knows what the future of Web3 will be like!
But what I want to say is that Web3.0 has arrived! !
2. Web 3.0 is here
I remember that Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, once said that his success did not come from "going against the trend", but from "following the trend" after real enlightenment. Whether we admit it or not, the trend of Web3.0 has arrived, and it is irreversible. You can criticize it or say it is a scam, but it has indeed arrived. It just needs to be tried and implemented thousands of times. Among them, many excellent companies will break through the market screening and eventually become unicorns in various industries in the Web3.0 era.
Hearing this, many people may jump out and say that it is cutting leeks. Uncle Wu wants you to calm down before reading this article and not refute it first. Many people play the role of keyboard warriors in the wave of the Internet, criticizing others for cutting leeks, but they don’t figure out the reasons for being cut leeks. Uncle Wu also wants to analyze with you what are the characteristics of those who have been cut leeks in Web3.0:
(1) They heard stories of people getting rich quickly through Web 3.0 and wanted to turn things around or speculate, so they signed up for investment courses or courses that teach how to buy and sell NFTs. However, they don’t know that nine out of ten people who try these courses will lose.
(2) Like the confused people in the Web 2.0 era, they are always in the role of users rather than producers. They can only use applications but do not have the skills to operate them.
Well, how do we interpret these two characteristics? First of all, for the first characteristic, we can easily summarize it in two words: speculation and turning over. People of this type often have a certain "gambling nature" deep in their hearts. They do not understand that wealth is based on the core logic of creating value, and they dream of turning over overnight. Are there such people who turn over? Yes! But there are very few, and most people who make money in this way will eventually lose it. For this type of people, I often tell my students that we need to make stable money, make solid money, and create wealth with knowledge and value. Only when we understand the core logic and knowledge of Web3.0 can we truly enter this industry, rather than simply buying coins and NFTs.
For the second feature, the roles of users and producers must be clearly understood. We all know that many of the first sellers of Taobao and Amazon have become financially independent. Today, Uncle Wu gives you a time machine and lets you go back to 10 years ago. Do you have the chance to seize it? You may only know that you need to open a store and sell goods, but do you know how to sell the goods and increase sales? This involves a core issue. Most of the people who are currently doing nothing are experiencers or basic users in this era. Their value is to provide wealth for producers and feedback for continuous product improvement.
In essence, they are the testers of the updates and iterations of these excellent products, because their user roles have not changed. They only buy things on Taobao and know which software to use. However, asking them to run a store may raise a big question mark.
Having understood this, Web3.0 is now in the stage of budding and thriving development. You who are watching the video should think carefully about how to seize the dividends of this era, turn yourself into a producer, create value, and gain wealth at the same time.
So what should we do? That’s right, we should systematically learn the knowledge and skills of Web3.0!
3. Why should we learn about Web3.0?
As for why we should learn the knowledge and skills of Web3.0, what I want to say is, just like my opening words, "Trends are taking shape, seize the dividends", we are now at such a stage, and what we need is to be in a "prepared posture" to welcome the unicorn applications that will break out of the siege at that time.
I remember receiving such an inquiry last week from a very outstanding lady who holds a master's degree in architecture and urban design from Harvard University. She has also founded a company and has taken on many excellent projects. She did not ask what the use of learning Web3.0 knowledge is like ordinary people, but asked these two questions:
she says:
(1) They are purely design professionals and want to know whether there are any products that can be integrated with Web3.0, or whether they can use some new technologies to assist their offline business. This is the first question.
(2) The second question she asked was, what is the current level of achievement in the field of architectural design?
When I heard these two questions, I knew that an expert had arrived. Uncle Wu will interpret her thinking logic with everyone to see how people from the world's top universities think about problems. Her first question did not question whether Web3 has come or whether it is a way to cut leeks, but whether the current web3.0 technology can be combined with its own industry to make a new breakthrough, and at the same time better seize the opportunity in the future. This is her inner meaning.
As for her second question, what is the current status of her peers in the field of architectural design? This is her grasp of the current situation. She wants to understand the progress of her peers in this field and see if she can first learn from their experience and then learn from their advantages. This is the thinking of an expert. For ordinary people, if we are not satisfied with our current career or life and want to try new opportunities, we can find Wushu to learn Web3.0.
But I have to tell you in advance that the process of learning knowledge and skills must be boring and requires patience. If you want to speculate or make quick money, don't come to Uncle Wu. Uncle Wu will only teach you the underlying knowledge, business model, underlying logic of Web3.0, how to transform into a producer, and the skills to enter Web3 companies. After learning, you will have the sword of Web3.0, and then adapt it to your own industry. In the future, if Web3.0 has a landing commercial application in your industry, jump in immediately, become a producer, create value, create wealth, and make stable money. The future you will thank yourself now!
