⚔️ The first gold ETF (SPDR Gold Shares (GLD)) took 2 years to reach $10 billion AUM... The first BTC-ETF (BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT)) took less than two months to do so

It’s just important to make a couple of clarifications:

⏺ Gold ETFs were launched 20 years ago, when the money supply and value of the dollar were completely different.

⏺ Before the launch of ETF-BTC, there was already a large Grayscale fund, and after the launch, part of the funds simply flowed from it to IBIT.
