Blast main network launched, where users transferred $2.3 billion
On March 1, the Blast second-layer blockchain team announced the launch of its main network, to which the first users can already connect and use its Blast decentralized applications (Dapps).
A Tier 2 project representative noted that 181,888 community members have transferred $2.3 billion to Blast during the early access phase. He also confirmed that these community members will earn $85 million per year through organic returns and Blast points.
According to the statement, the project is preparing an airdrop, with half of the allocated tokens being distributed among users. The second half will be used to support decentralized applications such as Blast Gold.
In addition, it is noted that more than 3,000 teams began working on Blast even before the launch of the mainnet. They have created decentralized applications that can only exist on Blast because they use Blast's own gas mining and distribution primitives.
