Only the lazy have not heard about LayerZero and the potential retrodrop from it.

Lately they have been writing in chats that the LZ snapshot has already been taken and it is too late to do any activity. Let's figure out why this is not so:

We go to Duna and see

that now there are only 1.2 million users. Of these, 59% made 1-5 transactions, and 70% used the protocol for only more than 1 month.

For projects, the number of transactions is important, as well as the duration of interaction with it. The project doesn’t just give away money, but rewards loyal users. We conclude that the indicators for a snapshot are still small.

Not all LZ services

went to the mainnet. The Circle bridge, which seems quite important and fundamental, was suspended on the test network a month ago and is being transferred to the mainnet.

It should be taken into account that launching on the mainnet does not mean that it is ready for full-fledged work and large-scale translations. Giving users time to test the mainnet would be smart on the team’s part.

If there was already a snapshot,

then the drop should be in the summer. This mathematics comes from the timing of other projects, where the approximate time for “snapshot-announcement-drop” was about 1-2 months.

In practice, summer is not the best time for the markets: low activity and small volumes will not show the token in the best light for both investors and drop hunters who can sell the token.

Snapshot not taken

until official sources wrote about it. Don't take my word for it.

From all that has been said, there is only one conclusion - it’s too early to take a snapshot, so you can and should be active in the project. What the criteria may be - see here. LFG 🧑‍💻
