Hello guys, please be careful of the ongoing phishing scam happening since Binance announced its change of CEO. Many scammers are now using the opportunity to send phishing emails to unsuspecting Binance users.
What's a phishing scam?
Phishing scams are deceptive attempts to trick individuals into divulging sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords, or financial details. Typically carried out through fraudulent emails, messages, or websites, these scams often mimic legitimate entities. In this case, they're trying to mimic Binance. Attached is the phishing email I received earlier.
• What you must do to avoid falling victim:
1. Don't click on unknown links and scrutinise incoming messages for red flags, such as unusual sender addresses, spelling errors, or requests for sensitive information.
2. Verify the legitimacy of requests through official channels, which adds an extra layer of protection like two-factor authentication.
