Whales Enter Cryptocurrency Markets
There has recently been an increase in the amount of UTXOs ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 bitcoins.
These amounts are more likely to be made by whales or institutional investors rather than individuals, and have increased particularly sharply since the recent approval of#Bitcoinspot ETFs.
While not yet as significant as the second part of the bull market in 2021, it is clear that a significant number of whales and institutions have entered the market.
Generally, in bull markets, after a significant influx of institutional investors, new retail investors enter the market, signaling the end of the bull run.
