Earlier, the price of Bitcoin surpassed the $56,000 level. As of Tuesday, February 27, the price of Bitcoin increased by 8.63% to $55,960.08. On the other hand, the trading volume surged by 213.96% in the past 24 hours to $45.06 billion. Meanwhile, the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies reached $1.09 trillion.
Looking at altcoins, Ethereum prices surged 3.78% to $3,220.67 at press time, with a market cap of $386.96 billion. Meanwhile, ETH trading volume soared 54.70% to $21.26 billion. Meanwhile, Binance Coin (BNB) prices rose 3.59% to $399.15. In contrast, its 24-hour trading volume grew 58.36% to $2.16 billion.

Meanwhile, Cardano price rose 6.57% today to $0.623. Additionally, ADA’s 24-hour trading volume surged by $114.81 to close at $712.62 million. As the top cryptocurrencies rose in price, the memecoin space also rose. Dogecoin price surged 5.42% to $0.09009, while its competitor Shiba Inu’s value rose 4.29% to trade at $0.00001021.

Pepecoin (PEPE) cryptocurrency, a popular meme cryptocurrency, has seen a sharp rise in its share price, becoming the largest cryptocurrency gainer today. As of press time, the price of Pepecoin has risen sharply by 52.09% to $0.000002108, with a market valuation of $885.67 million. In addition, its 24-hour trading volume soared by 338.64% to $722.99 million.
Python Network Surges 34%
Pyth Network (PYTH) has seen its PO surge by more than 33%, making it one of the biggest cryptocurrency gainers today. As of press time, PYTH price surged 33.71% to $0.7467. Also, its trade volume surged 493.44% to $314.11 million. Furthermore, the PYTH cryptocurrency reached a high of $0.7488 during today’s rally.
