Avalanche has confirmed a block completion block, preventing blocks from being accepted onto the network, and developers are currently investigating.

“Community developers are currently investigating a block completion block that prevents blocks from being accepted into the mainnet.” An avalanche was reported in an incident report at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Data from an Avalanche blockchain explorer shows that the last block on Avalanche's subnetworks (P-Chain, X-Chain, and C-Chain) appears to have occurred over two hours ago, coinciding with the 'alert.

Before today, a brief outage occurred in March 2023 that affected the C-chain and X-Chain subnets.
