SHIB, the leading meme cryptocurrency and the second largest by market capitalization, has been trying to break through the $0000009 ceiling for two weeks now. It managed to reach that level on Monday and Tuesday this week, but since then, SHIB's price has been falling time and time again.
Today alone, #SHIB has fallen more than 3% to a local low of $000000946. The rate of decline over the past 24 hours has been 4.70%.
Last week, SHIB managed to burn zero and reach the USD 1000001 level three times, but each time it fell lower after a long-awaited price increase, bringing its price down 5.44% since Friday.
Meanwhile, the #Shibarium network is creating the conditions necessary for a price rise - the layer 2 #blockchain is experiencing record growth at the level of daily transactions - today the number of transfers finally surpassed the 4 million mark and now stands at 4.21 million.
According to an earlier U. Today report, the index added 1.21 million transactions in the last 24 hours. Overall, the number of daily money transfers has been growing quite rapidly lately, rising from 526,000 on Feb. 9 to 1.07 million on Feb. 16 to 4.21 million today. The total number of transactions has also increased by more than 4 million in the last 24 hours, reaching 364,448,402 transactions so far.
