Good morning, leeks, let's bid farewell to Li Lin, bid farewell to SBF, let's bid farewell to CZ collectively, who is next?

CZ farewell original text:

Today, I resigned from my role as CEO of Binance. Admittedly, letting go emotionally is not easy. But I know it was the best choice, I made a mistake and I have to take responsibility. This is what’s best for our community, Binance, and myself. Binance is no longer a baby. Now it’s time for me to let it walk and run. I know Binance will continue to grow and stand out with its strong backend. I am pleased to announce that our current former Global Head of Regional Markets, Richard Teng, has been appointed as the new CEO of Binance today.

Teng is a highly qualified leader with more than three decades of financial services and regulatory experience who will lead the company through its next period of growth. He will ensure Binance achieves its next phase of security, transparency, compliance and growth. Prior to joining Binance, Richard served as CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM); Chief Regulatory Officer of the Singapore Exchange (SGX); and Corporate Finance Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Together with Richard and the entire team, I believe the best days are ahead for Binance and the crypto industry.

As a shareholder and former CEO with knowledge of our company's history, I will be available to provide the team with necessary consultation within the framework set forth in our U.S. agency resolution.

What do I do next? I will rest for a while. I haven’t had a true day off (turn off the phone) in the past six and a half years. After that, my current thinking is that I might do some passive investing and become a minority token holder or shareholder in startups in the blockchain/Web3/DeFi, AI, and biotech space.

I’m glad I finally have more time to study DeFi. I can’t imagine myself being CEO again to drive a startup forward. I'm content to be a one-time (lucky) entrepreneur. If there is an audience, I might be willing to serve privately as a coach/mentor to a handful of upcoming entrepreneurs. If for nothing else, I can at least tell them what not to do.

At this point, I am proud to state that in our resolution with U.S. agencies, they:

There are no accusations that Binance misappropriated any user funds,

There are no accusations that Binance engaged in any market manipulation.

Financial security.

So I look forward to seeing new leadership come in. Please join me in congratulating Teng on his well-deserved promotion.

Go forward!
