As part of the agreement with FinCEN, Binance will leave the US entirely and appoint a five-year monitor to oversee the exchange's sanctions compliance program. During this time, the US Treasury Department will have access to Binance data and systems.
The official clarified that Binance.US, a registered money services company, is a separate exchange and therefore will not be affected by Binance's exit.
