Cortina Upgrade is a new version of AvalancheGo that ports X-Chain to run Snowman++ consensus, making it easier for exchanges to support X-Chain.
After the upgrade, the network will be able to perform more complex transactions in a single block without increasing the resources required to verify the main network. The update will be activated on Fuji on March 30th.
