IntoTheBlock: Crypto whales accumulated $3 billion worth of bitcoins in January
In total, crypto whales replenished their reserves by 76,000 bitcoins. The number of cryptocurrency wallets with a reserve of 10,000 to 100,000 bitcoins increased by 2.88%. Last week alone, the number of addresses of large investors increased by 119.83%.
Over the past 30 days, the number of addresses with a balance of 0-0.001 BTC has increased by 1.02%. And the number of addresses with a balance of 0.001-0.01 BTC and 0.01-0.1 BTC decreased by 1.90% and 1.36%, respectively.
According to IntoTheBlock experts, the change in numbers indicates that cryptocurrency is now increasingly concentrated among a small number of holders.
