Real World Assets Tokenization is a new hot cake by J P Morgan
Ripple's Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz has recently said that company's strategic shift to capitalize on the asset tokenization market using its XRP Ledger (XRPL). In a move to challenge traditional financial institutions which backed t commodity assets, Ripple is setting its sights on the real estate sector, which is projected to reach a valuation of $30 trillion by 2030.
Schwartz emphasized XRPL's strengths over its native cryptocurrency XRP as a gas token or as a holding back up asset for RWA . He praised the ledger for being an innovative layer-1 blockchain with the potential to transform how enterprises adopt blockchain technology. This pivot comes as Ripple seeks to extend XRPL’s original design, which was focused on facilitating cross-border payments without relying on Bitcoin’s technological lineage.
Schwartz enlighten about XRPL's ability to reshape the real estate industry through the process of tokenization. By representing physical assets like real estate as digital tokens on a blockchain, tokenization offers a way to fractionalize ownership and potentially increase liquidity in markets that are traditionally illiquid.
In my view its all bout tokenization where RWA Like Real estate which is at the moment countries like UAE, Kingdom of Saudi arabia followed by oman and very little in Georgia in Europe, they are building and pushing real estate and encouraging holding in my view $XRP will be the key as a tokenization of blueprint owning or a purchase transaction due to less gas fee.
later as value increase high potential purchasing I'll be matched with the brokerage and transfer value as a fee in $XRP transactions.
RWA example Nike latest release RTFKT dunk genesis sneaker associated with digital collectible is another example
these all are depends on adoption and how institutions strategically adopts for the use of. fundamentally many okaxes accept $BTC as currency but due to we all are number driven people we need asset with less fee and #xrp fits well.
